Rooted in the Piney Woods of East Texas, The Farm at Bald Hill is dedicated to regenerative agriculture and sustainability. We work in partnership with nature to raise clean, nutrient-dense proteins that nourish both people and the planet.

Our philosophy is simple: healthy soil grows healthy food. By focusing on soil health, we create vibrant forage for our animals, resulting in stronger, healthier livestock and, ultimately, more nourishing food for our community.

Co-founders Justin Berry and Treasure Hance came to farming with a shared belief that food should heal—our bodies, our ecosystems, and our communities.

For Justin, a childhood split between Houston and East Texas instilled both an appreciation for innovation and a longing for the land. After years in the tech industry, he felt called to something more grounded. Selling his IT company marked the start of a new chapter - one rooted in stewardship, sustainability, and the simple act of getting his hands in the soil.

Treasure’s path began in Louisiana, guided by a lifelong concern for health and the environment. With a growing interest in how food systems impact both, she found her purpose in agriculture. She’s now pursuing a master’s degree in sustainability with a focus on regenerative farming - driven to help other producers rebuild soil health, restore ecosystems, and strengthen local food networks.

Together - with the help of their loyal pack of farm dogs -Justin and Treasure raise grass-fed and finished beef and lamb, pastured heritage pork, and pasture-raised chickens and eggs. Every choice on the farm is intentional: to honor the land, respect the animals, and provide food that reconnects people to where nourishment really begins.

At The Farm at Bald Hill, we believe farming is more than a business, it’s a responsibility. A responsibility to our animals, to the soil beneath our feet, and to the community we feed.
